Hostal Richard REMEDIOS is a good starting point to discover the tourist attractions of San Juan de los Remedios and its surroundings. Located next to the Plaza de Armas (vital center of Remedios, from which all life and services are structured), just 2 minutes walk.

It should be noted that the famous Las Parrandas parties are held in the Plaza, so if you are going to coincide ... you will be next to them and, at the same time, far enough apart to know that the noise of the party will let you sleep. On one side of the square stands the ‘Iglesia Parroquial Mayor San Juan Bautista’, a beautiful example of colonial architecture and the oldest building in the city, with baroque-style altarpieces. At the other end of the square, you will find the "Museum of Music", the birthplace of Alejandro García Caturla.

And, for those who love ecological tourism, in the vicinity of Yaguajay (1 hour away) is the Rancho Querete, a beautiful Natural Park, with hiking, horseback riding, rivers and beautiful waterfalls.

Hostal Richard REMEDIOS is a colonial house, built in 1910 and remodeled in 2011, maintaining its original interior and facade structure. Its beautiful living room and dining room are striking, with colonial reminiscences in structure and furniture. A pretty patio gives way to the quiet, intimate and well-appointed rooms. All of them with private bathroom and air conditioning.

The gastronomic service is excellent. Very good continental breakfasts and lunches and dinners with typical Cuban cuisine, seasonal products and abundant portions. The star dish is seafood.
Wi-Fi internet service, laundry, taxi, parking, dance classes, language classes ... and house cocktails are offered (among which you cannot miss the tasting of their mojitos).
